~)Ancient Cries of Love and Lust(~

Your warmth meets mine.

Presure to presure.

Small moans, gentle nudges.

I grip, I squeeze.

Your nails in my skin.

The subtle traces my teeth leave behind.

Breathing grows rapid.

Clothes depart the equation.

Pulse quickening, mood changing.

The entrance is slow but right.

A rythym is established.

Ferocity ensues.

Primal tendencies float to the surface.

Animals thrashing, rocking…

biting, scratching, gripping.

Two hearts hammering in tandem.

Two voices strikeing at the night.

Two bodies seeking to be one beat.

The bed they lay on, the drum they play.

Room shaking.

Sweat glistening.

Cries in the dark.

One… last… thrust…

Muscles unclench.

Sighs escape teeth.

Breath slows…a little a first.

Then a little more.

Love now sowed…

…sleep cometh.

  1. I want so badly to have some incredibly articulate and flowing statement about the masterful way you captured something so raw and animalistic and made it so beautifully poetic, but all I can do when I read this is smile and remember, and then my brain goes…non-verbal. :)

  2. Primal…I think the last two lines are perfect. They sound ancient, biblical – part of our humanity is primal. Funny how we sometimes try to make it separate from spirituality. I love that you connected the two ideas.

    • Thank you very much. Couldnt sleep the other night and so the dark hours encouraged me to write. I find the early predawn hours to be when i am my most base, primal self( and my gf agrees, he he). I wanted to try something a bit more raw and sexual yet still have a poets edge. Hopefully i succeceded.

  3. I think you did an amazing job of capturing something visceral, animal, physical, and displaying it in an artistic way. This captures heart-pounding sexuality and sensuality in the farthest possible form from pornography, and yet is just as graphic in its beauty and expression.

    In short: Niiiiiiice.

    • Thanks much darknyt, I really appreciate the comment and that you stopped by. Yea my and my gf had had some not so quiet time the other night and after words I couldnt sleep. Being that those early predawn hours find me at my most animalistic primal state of mind, I thought id use it to describe the pre occuring activities. Im pretty happy with this one, which says alot because alot of my work im very skeptical about. Thanks for reading!!

  4. Zaza zing! Fanning myself, I am left with the sweetest feeling… your incredible use of imagery and delicious description celebrates such a wonderful part of being human. Looking forward to reading more of your work…

  6. I agree with Jaymie…Primal is definitely the word that jumps out here. Well done. You’ve really captured a universal energy in a very honest and raw, but sensuous and respectful way.
